Finding An English War Bride Who Went To The US After World War I
This is a bit left of field, but how would you find a war bride who went to the USA after World War I and died about 6 weeks later? Apart from checking Births, Deaths and Marriages records I don't believe there is a quick way.
Any ideas?

Do you know what year she came to the US or where she was headed? The passenger lists might give you further details about where she was travelling to. The 1918/1919 influenza epidemic caused a lot of deaths during this time. I have a number of war brides in my database who died while on the journey or shortly after arriving at Canadian ports.
