Just found this blog. Very well written and moving account of the journey of a young boy with his mother, an English war bride, to the land of his father. They left Southamptom on the Queen Mary and journeyed to Halifax, Canada where they boarded a train to Toronto... but read it for yourself, it is a
delightful story. |
